Physical Therapist
Laura Ward, PT, DPT, is a dedicated physical therapist and lifelong resident of St. Mary’s County, Maryland. Deeply connected to her home community, she has devoted her career to helping patients across Southern Maryland regain function, mobility, and confidence through compassionate, evidence‑based care.

With a strong foundation in orthopedics, Laura has specialized in pelvic health since 2020, focusing on pre‑ and postpartum care, urinary concerns, and whole‑body movement patterns. She is also a certified Pilates instructor, integrating Pilates‑based principles into her treatment approach to enhance core stability, posture, and functional movement. Laura takes a holistic, patient‑centered approach and is passionate about teaching people how their bodies work so they feel informed and empowered throughout their recovery.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Villa Julie College (now Stevenson University) in 2003 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Shenandoah University in 2006. Outside the clinic, Laura enjoys dancing with her husband, playing sand volleyball, and spending time with her two children.
Jenna Holmes, PT, DPT, Cert. MDT
The Founder
Jenna Holmes is the owner of Foundation Pelvic Therapy; a Physical Therapy service focused on pelvic health. Jenna understands that pelvic floor dysfunction can have major implications on a person’s quality of life. No person should be brushed off if they experience leakage, pain, or sexual dysfunction. She fell in love with working with pregnant and postpartum women and believes that a woman should be empowered during pregnancy to understand how her body is changing. Every woman has a unique story, so it is important that she receive individualized and holistic care. Jenna specializes in helping you meet your goals during your journey to healing.
Jenna graduated from Shenandoah University in 2008 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She focused on learning more about movement and addressing pain by earning her Certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy. Her primary focus became Pelvic Health after one of the local physicians began asking for services to support his patients in 2018. Since then, Jenna has taken multiple courses through leading pelvic health education providers including Herman & Wallace, Pelvic Guru, Pelvic PT Rising and Core

Exercise Solutions. Jenna earned her Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist Certification. She has experience in a variety of areas including working with CrossFit athletes, movement assessment and visceral mobilization. She is devoted to lifelong learning to provide the best care to her patients.

In her free time, Jenna enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. She enjoys being active outside with her sons, fishing, paddle boarding and supporting her sons with sports.

Whether you need help scheduling an appointment or have questions about our services, Debbi is here to assist with care and compassion.

With prior experience at Penn State Children’s Hospital and Press Ganey, Debbi has a strong foundation in patient-centered care. These roles deepened her commitment to empowering individuals on their health journeys and creating a safe, respectful space for every client.

Outside of the office, Debbi enjoys hiking, swimming, traveling, and staying active with her family.
